Ram is a self-made entrepreneur with a hands-on strategic value-add approach; his credentials include building and scaling Fintech payments companies. With multi-sector and regional experience with deep Principal-to-Principal engagement internationally, in 2010, he successfully delivered the first Billion Dollar Payments Unicorn in the Middle East.

Ram has over 30 years of diverse experience in Payments, Software Products, and Technology with hands-on operating functional roles. He is experienced in operating business in markets – Australia, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Turkey, Taiwan, UAE, USA, and regional exposure to North America, Europe, Middle East Africa and APJ.

He has well-rounded exposure to diverse business sectors such as Logistics, Banking, Travel, Financial Services, BPO’s and Software Technology. Over the last ten years, he has developed deep working relationships with regional and global PE Investors in operating and identifying M&A investments and helping Founders/Investors raise Capital for In/Divestment. He has driven shareholder value creation through Constituency Focus and Board positions delivering on strategic imperatives, and robust governance for value maximization, and diligently engaged with and enabled the Founders and Institutional Shareholders to raise Series funding with the VC, PE Funds, and Strategic Investors. He is based in Dubai UAE with a double Master’s in Management from India and UK.

Current Experience: Magnati LLC (UAE) – Chief Operating Officer:- Engaged in delivering the carve-out of the Payments business from the bank and working with external consultants to support the shareholder aspirations. Helping establish a leading payment platform driven by compelling technology addressing B2B and B2C models with deep enablements for the Fintech ecosystem.

He has previously worked at DHL, American Express, Network International, and Mastercard.
